It’s true for leaders, who often feel deep loneliness and isolation, even if they mistakenly think they have hundreds of friends. What if you positively knew that something you really like was really really good for you? Would you get excited and intentional about choosing it? Deep friendship was the way of Jesus. He was intentional, consistent and authentic. He had three closest friends and changed the world through twelve of his friends. What can we learn from the way Jesus invested in his friendships? Let’s look at the power of processing our lives in a huddle of friends and in huddling with Father God as we meet Him in His word.
