Sometimes it's hard to think about our relationship with God as being "royal" but that is exactly what the Bible teaches. Jesus is a King. He rules over a Kingdom. We were chosen by him to belong to his family. Now we serve at his pleasure in His Kingdom. That experience of coming into His Kingdom is a good back drop for today's study in God's Word. Because only in a true Kingdom can a person be CROWNED and God says that you and have been "crowned" by him. More importantly. God wants us to wear the crown he has given us to reflect our royal identity in this world. As we dive into today's lesson you are going to see that God choosing you and calling you into his royal family changes everything about who we are and how we live.
