The current discussion of race and the racial divide in our country is a challenging and emotional one for everybody. It is easy, depending on who your audience is, to get into thick brush and impassable jungle. It is equally concerning and confusing to the world that the most segregated hour in America is still Sunday mornings. In a society that embraces diversity in every facet and dimension of life, somehow it continues to be elusive for the one group of people it should be most true of - Christians. Racial reconciliation is a Gospel imperative but why is it so difficult? Could it be that God is allowing certain events to take place and to rise to the surface powerfully so that we can finally see the true cultural reality more clearly and respond differently? In Part 2 of this series Pastor and men's expert Kenny Luck, along with Pastor Eric Lee, speaks into how God's people are directed from the Bible to redemptively act when the temptation is to racially divide. The Body of Christ has not just a mandate but a golden opportunity to become comprehensively (versus selectively) biblical. In the process, it can also present the culture with a clear picture and demonstration of the Gospel.
