Part 4 – Jesus v Posers

Have you ever experienced this before? A Christian with good intentions ends up doing more harm than good with the very people he is trying to influence for his faith by acting overly religious. Have you ever bumped into one of those people? They look goofy. They act goofy. They become goofy. And there’s nothing goofier than a goofy Christian. Well, in today’s study we are going to see Jesus confront dysfunctional, judgmental, and goofy spirituality. We are going to watch God himself confront men who claimed to represent God pushing people far away from God. More specifically, we are going to see Jesus define synthetic and shallow religion and show us the way toward an authentic and resonating faith. The goal you say? More Jesus and less religion.
