Every man likes to hear the words “you did good” – especially from people we respect or love or are hoping to please. Clear expressions of approval are appreciated because they take some of the guesswork out of the relationship. How about when it comes to your relationship with God? The good news is that God’s Word is filled with stories of men to whom God said, “YOU DID GOOD – YES - MORE OF THAT!” letting them know He was pleased by how they thought and what they did. The Bible also says those moments in time happened and were passed down to us so that we could see God’s heart and connect with him more meaningfully. Those examples telegraph the precise thinking, motives and behaviors that bring God joy. That’s what this series is all about – seeing God speak into the lives of men seeking a relationship with him and hearing God say very clearly: “THAT’S IT DUDE – YOU GOT IT – LOVE IT … MORE OF THAT!” You are going to want to pay close attention to each message in this series as encounter men just like us who modeled for us how to bring God joy as his sons.
