Scott’s imaginary backpack begins to fill up with little rocks, some larger rocks with every call. Over the timespan of a career the weight of the backpack can bring you to your breaking point. It’s at this point Scott decides to accept Jesus as his savior. He begins to see God in his work place and at home. One day they are dispatched to a home where a baby has a Lego trapped in its airway. Scott calls out to God, “God, this baby needs you and I need you, right now!” Scott knows, he didn’t save the baby; it was GOD. Scott says, “it started with God walking along side me to God being inside me!”
